BUDGAM- The District Development Commissioner, Budgam Mr. Khurshid Ahmad accompanied by team of the officers of industries and district administration today inspected the Industrial Estate, Ompora and Rangreth.
The DDC was informed that the Industrial Estate, Ompora is spread over an area of 1008 kanals maintained by J&K SIDCO. The units inspected by him included M/S Comfort Polymers come up at a cost of Rs 5cr. M/s Himalaya Rolling Mills-an automatic Steel Plant coming up at a cost of Rs 100cr. He also visited M/s Alba Powers Pvt Limited-a manufacturing unit of Distribution Transformers that has come up at a cost of Rs.3 Cr. and M/S FIL Industries Limited.
The DDC was impressed with the functioning of these units and asked the concerned officers to identify all such entrepreneurs who have not so for set up their units despite allotment of industrial plots so that action under.
