NEW DELHI: Jammu and Kashmir cadre IAS officer, Anil Goswami, has been appointed as Secretary in the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA).
The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the appointment of Goswami, Secretary, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment as Home Secretary, Ministry of Home Affairs for a period of two years from the date of taking over the charge of Home Secretary, vice Raj Kumar Singh.
Goswami is appointed as OSD in the Ministry of Home Affairs in the rank and pay of Secretary with immediate effect and till the date of his assumption of charge as Home Secretary.
