SRINAGAR: Appealing people to follow the protest calendar for achieving the goal of return of mortal remains of Afzal Guru and Maqbool Bhat, Mutahida-Majlis-e-Mashawart (MMM), a united forum of separatists, on Sunday issued a fresh protest calendar for next week and called for complete shutdown on Thursday.
In a statement issued today, MMM has asked people to observe complete strike on Thursday against the delay in return of the mortal remains of Muhammad Maqbool Bhat and Muhammad Afzal Guru.
On Monday, people should stage protests after Maghrib prayers. On Tuesday, people should write Shame India on currency notes, the statement said.
MMM has asked students of universities and colleges to stage protests from 1 pm to 2 pm on Wednesday.
The MMM spokesman said on Friday, people should hold protests soon after congregational prayers.
It has called for protest on social networking sites on Saturday to demand remains of Afzal and Bhat back.
On Sunday, people should resume normal business and keep all shops and other establishments open, the MMM spokesman added.
