Dear Editor
This is coming from a candidate who is deeply hurt by the level of corrutption in the state and feels helpless at the hands of the people who do not value qualification.
In the recently conducted interviews at the Islamic University of Science and Technology, Awantipura for the post of Assistant Professor Contractual for the faculties of MCA and MscIT, UGC selection norms have been flouted by dropping NET qualified candidates and taking simple PG candidates instead.
I am a UGC NET qualified candidate and have a gold medal too, still I have been dropped and simple MCA candidates have been taken. When i contacted the university officials in this regard, they failed to give me any reason.
It seems corruption is on the loose here and nobody can complain about it. Your good self can enquire yourself about this matter and let the truth prevail.
If this is the state of affairs, then what is the fun of toiling hard day and night for competing with the best at national level for qualifying NET. Is it justified? How far can this red-tapism murder the genuine aspirations of people like me who have no other sufarish than of God.
I request you to honor the truth by inquiring into the matter and letting the truth prevail. Moreover I wish to plead anonymity in this case as I fear this may lead to my getting blacklisted in their future interviews.
An Aspirant
