SRINAGAR: To facilitate the common masses with better traffic system in the Srinagar city, District Development Commissioner, Srinagar today enjoined upon the traffic authorities to ensure plying of 10 SRTC buses during late hours in Srinagar city.
The District Development Commissioner also exhorted upon the officers to ensure regularity and punctuality in their offices so that the grievances of the people can be redressed and the schemes launched for the welfare of people can be implemented in letter and spirit.
This was stated by the District Development Commissioner while convening an officers meeting here today.
The meeting was informed that about 81 percent expenditure has been registered against the allocation for the current fiscal.
The District Development Commissioner impressed upon the officers to ensure judicious use of funds and attaining targets in full within the stipulated time. He also directed Srinagar Municipal Corporation authorities to ensure cleanliness and proper sanitation in Srinagar city.
