SRINAGAR: A Hurriyat Conference delegation led by Zaffar Akbar Bhat today met the family members of Altaf Ahmad of Saidapora, Srinagar- who was killed in firing by the forces.
The delegation sympathized with the bereaved family members and condemned the ‘brutal killing of the innocent soul by the troops’, a Hurriyat spokesman said in a statement.
He said later the delegates went to central jail Srinagar and met the jailed leaders Nayeem Ahmad Khan and GN Nagoo.
The conference resolved that the fight against the Indian occupation would continue and hurriyat would continue to represent the aspirations and emotions of people, come what may, he added.
