SRINAGAR: Despite the Mutahida Majlise Mashavrat (MMM) of the separatist organizations having called for valley wide strike and protests on Friday, the state government will not impose any kind of restrictions on movement of people.
We dont intend to impose any kind of curfew or restrictions in any part of the valley on Friday, Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Asghar Samoon said.
However, depending upon the situation if we need to take any preventive measures, we will see, he added.
Pertinently the MMM had called for a valley wide strike and protest on Friday for demanding the return of mortal remains of Muhammad Afzal Guru.
