SRINAGAR: One person died while another one was injured in two separate road accidents in the Valley overnight.
Police said a Wagon-R bearing registration number Jk03C/3055 hit and injured Bashir Ahmad Dar son of Abdul Gani resident of Bonigam at Bonigam, in the jurisdiction of police Qazigund. The injured was shifted to Qazigund Hospital for treatment where doctors declared him brought dead. The body of deceased was handed over to his relatives for last rites. Police has registered case in this regard.
Meanwhile, an Auto load carrier bearing registration number Jk12B/9629 turned turtle near Drangbal, Pampore on National Highway, in the jurisdiction of Police Pampore, resulting in injuries to Bilal Ahmad Sheikh son of Ghulam Rasool resident of Chandrigam, Tral. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment. Police has registered a case in this regard, it added.
