SRINAGAR: Jammu and Kashmir police arrested two fake militants who were indulging in extortions and threatening sarpanchs and panchs in south Kashmir.
Official sources said some posters had appeared in south Kashmir area of Dooru threatening sarpanchs and panchs to resign.
During the course of investigation, police arrested two persons involved in threatening sarpanchs and panchs to resign.
A number of posters were also seized from the arrested persons, who said they were militants. They were also looting money from the people, sources added.
