SRINAGAR: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah today advocated ban on incandescent bulbs to save energy and avoid power losses. “Am going to move a proposal in the Cabinet to ban the use of incandescent bulbs in all Government and public buildings. Can’t sustain power losses,” Omar tweeted on micro-blogging site. He said that he would move a proposal seeking ban in a bid to save energy and avoid power losses. “Let’s see what happens to the electricity this time around as more snow is around the corner”, the Chief Minister tweeted.
