SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir state cabinet will meet on Tuesday afternoon at the civil secretariat here under the charimanship of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah.
The meeting is scheduled for 2:30 pm on Tuesday afternoon in which the Governors address for the upcoming budget session will be the main issue under discussion, a senior minister said.
Meanwhile, sources said that in view of promotion of some senior police officials to the rank of Additional Directors Generals, more posts of ADGs may be created for adjusting them. Some additional charges of ADG rank by some officials may be taken away and given to the new incumbents, the sources added.
According to sources, minor transfers are also likely to be effected in the administration during the cabinet meeting here. KNS
