JAMMU-The Health and Medical Education Department (H&MED) ordered that the Heads of Department in consultation with concerned Principals of Government Medical Colleges and its Associated Hospitals and Government Dental Colleges of the state shall ensure strict implementation of Medical Council of India (MCI) and Dental Council of India (DCI) norms, while framing duty rosters in respect of their department, as the case may be.
According to Commissioner/Secretary, Health and Medical Education Department order any clinical unit/sub-unit, being run in disregard to MCI/DCI norms by any head of the department are disbanded forthwith.
