SRINAGAR: The state cabinet is due to meet in the winter capital Jammu on Thursday, with police promotions, recruitment policy and employees demands on the agenda.
The cabinet is to decide on a key bill for amendments in the governments recruitment policy with regard to migrants from one district or division of the state to another, reports quoted sources as having said.
The issue of posting the recently-promoted Additional Directors General of Police (ADGPs) too is on the agenda, and a replacement for the chief secretary Madhava Lal, who retires in March, may also come up for discussion, sources said.
