JAMMU: A girl was allegedly raped while the accused was arrested in Kanachak area on the city outskirts at this winter capital of the state.
“The victim, resident of Rabta Ghrota yesterday lodged a complaint with the police that one Sham Lal alias Shama, allegedly raped her following which a case was registered and manhunt was launched to apprehend the accused,” police here today said.
After simultaneous raids, the accused was arrested while the girl was handed over to family members after medical examination, they added. Agencies
