SRINAGAR: According to the Superintendent of Police, Traffic City, Srinagar, to uphold the directions of Supreme Court regarding ban on black/tinted glasses no vehicle except official vehicles allotted by Police department, State Motor Garage, Judges of J&K High Court and the head of Statutory Bodies/Commissions of Z and Z + Category protectee shall be allowed to use tint/black films.
However, no such exemption shall be applicable in respect of private vehicles of Z and Z + category protectees including the escort vehicles forming part of carcade of said protected person.
Moreover, the general public are requested to inform the traffic police authority on the following Phone Numbers, if any vehicle having black film/tinted glass found plying on road so that action under law will be taken against the violator.
