BANDIPORE: District Development Commissioner, Bandipora, Mr. Manzoor Ahmad Lone Saturday convened a meeting of all concerned officers to discuss the rehabilitation measures for the affected families of the prestigious Kishan Ganga Project and beautification of Kralpora, Manterigam, Pazalpora and other adjacent villages.
The MLA Bandipora, Mr. Nizam-ud-Din Bhat, Additional District Development Commissioner, Bandipora, General Manager JKPCC, Sub Divisional Magistrate, Gurez and other senior officers of the district administration attended meeting.
During the deliberation of the meeting, it was given out that Rs. 253 crores shall be expended on the execution of various road projects, augmentation of power and water supply schemes, drainage and lighting system and construction of play fields and Amazement Parks in the affected villages.
The District Development Commissioner said that Rs. 53.73 crore have been released so far to carry on the rehabilitation and beautification project. He also stressed upon the officers to ensure timely execution of the work and use funds judiciously.
MLA Bandipora on the occasion stressed upon the officers to work with added zeal, dedication and sincerity so that the benefit percolates at the ground level.
