SRINAGAR:: On the third day of the series of Hussaini Mushairas, rich poetic tributes were paid to the martyrs of Karballa in a specially organized Hussaini Mushaira at Academy Headquarters, in Srinagar.
Prominent Pahari poets across the valley paid their poetic tributes and the Mushaira was presided over by M. Azeem Khan.
Earlier in his welcome address, Additional Secretary, Cultural Academy, Dr. A. S. Amn remembered the great sacrifice by the martyrs of Karballa which has given humanity a lesson not to go before the coward.
The poets who paid their tributes in Pahari Mushaira include M. Azeem Khan, M. Sarwar Reehan, Sahil Maqbool, Parvaiz Manoos, Azeez Dashnavi, Syed Aijaz Kazmi, Syed Amjad Hussain Kazmi, Abdul Majeed Hasrat, Khadim Hussain Turk, Danish Ishfaq Turk, Naieem Karnaie and M. Shafi Saber.
