SRINAGAR: Expressing surprise over the location of their examination centers at places far away from their colleges and residences, students of BA, II year, have urged the Kashmir University authorities to reconsider the issue keeping in view the harsh climatic conditions and other factors.
The examinations are commencing on December 11 and would be starting at 2 p.m.
A deputation of students told KNS their examination centers had been located at distant places like Narbal although they were enrolled with colleges based in Srinagar. It would be difficult for the examinees to make it to their centers as the Srinagar-Narbal sector of the highway is witness to frequent traffic jams, they said, urging the authorities to locate their examination centers closer to their colleges.
