SRINAGAR – Minister for Medical and Technical Education and Sports, R.S. Chib convened a high level meeting of officers here at youth hostel today and took stock of the arrangements made by the divisional/district administration for organizing a Tour De International Motor Cycling Race to be organized at Royal Spring Golf Course on Dec 4 in which 120 cyclists of international level will participate.
The meeting was attended by commissioner/secretary to government, sports, secretary sports council, Srinagar IGP Kashmir, SSP Srinagar, SP Traffic Srinagar, joint commissioner, Sports Council, joint director of information Kashmir, officers of sports department and other functionaries.
Chib was informed that services of seven ambulances and medical team would be kept available on the event to meet any exigency. The minister directed the Department of Information for arranging special cultural programme as well as media coverage on state level.
