SRINAGAR – Kupwara police today charge-sheeted one Muhammad Shafi Malik son of Muhammad Hayat Malik of Tikker (Kupwara) allegedly for killing his daughter. The challan was filed in the court of sub-judge, Kupwara.
According to the chargesheet, Malik had allegedly killed his 8-year old daughter, Ishra Shafi on 26th March, 2011 at Tikker.
A case vide FIR No. 64/2011 under section 302/ RPC had been registered in Police Station, Kupwara. The accused was arrested and produced before the court. The investigation of the case was headed by deputy superintendent of police (Hqrs) Kupwara, official sources said.
