SRINAGAR – Two people, one of them unidentified died in separate road accidents in the valley on Monday, police sources told KNS.
Farooq Ahmad Rather son of Abdul Razzak Rather resident of Aarth who was driving his motor cycle bearing registration number Jk04B/9057 rammed into a tree at Razwan, Budgam resulting in serious injuries to him.The injured was shifted to JVC Srinagar where he succumbed to his injuries.
Meanwhile, according to police, an unknown person was hit and injured in a road accident near G.B. Panth Hospital, Srinagar, who later died at SMHS hospital, Srinagar.
A motorcycle bearing registration number Jk04A/0262 driven by Deepak Bahadur son of Ram Prasad resident of Nepal at present Sanat Nagar Srinagar hit and injured an unknown /unidentified pedestrian near G.B. Panth Hospital. The injured was shifted to SHMS, Srinagar where he succumbed to his injuries. The body of the deceased persons is lying in Police custody at SMHS (Medical College Srinagar) for identification, said police spokesperson.
Police has asked general public that if anybody has any information regarding the deceased may please contact the police.
The deceased is an old age person wearing check Pheran, with black & white hair and white beard. Anybody having any information regarding the deceased may contact Police Station R.M Bagh on Phone number 0194-2500830, Mobile 9419000722 or Police Control Room, Srinagar on 100, the police said.
