SRINAGAR – History witnessed that falsehood perishes when truth prevails and martyrdom of Imam Hussain (AS) exemplifies this , said Mufti Ghulam Hassan Azhari while speaking at a one day seminar “Shan-e-Ahlul-Bayat” organized by United Islamic Youth in collaboration with Department of Student`s Welfare (DSW) University of Kashmir here on Wednesday.
Mufti Azhari traced the trail and tribulations faced by various Prophets during the course of history, how they were tested and how finally they succeeded in accomplishing those tasks.
He said, It was Abrahim (AS) and Moses (AS) who fought and succeeded against the lords of falsehood of their times and with the divine help and steadfastness of these Prophets in adhering to the truth and justice they succeeded.”
“Quran mentions that Prophets sacrificed a lot in the name of Allah and for propagation of his message and now it is our obligatory duty to carry forward this message and mission of Allah with religious zeal and devotion, “added Mufti Azhari.
Maintaining that the life of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) and his Ahlul-Bayat is an essence of Islam he said “The life of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) and his Ahlul-Bayat is like a boat for Ummah and whosoever embarks this boat will attain salvation.”
While delving on the significance of the martyrdom of Imam Hussain (AS) at Karbala and paying rich tributes to his sacrifice Mufti Azhari said Imam Hussain (AS) made a supreme sacrifice as he stood ground against tyranny and falsehood by shedding his blood.”
In the after noon session Dr Qazi yasir Ahmad Mirwaiz south Kashmir spoke on the them and appealed the youth to follow the life of prphet and Ahlul-Bayat letter and spirit.
Scientific work of Imam Ahmad Raza was also released by Moulana Ghulam Rasool Hami and other dignitaries.
