SRINAGAR – Three persons were injured in two separate road accidents in the valley on Wednesday, police spokesperson said.
He said a Tata Sumo bearing registration number JK09/2410 and Swift Car bearing registration number JK01N/7763 collided near Bathergam, in the jurisdiction of Police Station Kupwara, resulting in injuries to Shafkat daughter of Ghulam Nabi Bhat resident of Tarthpta and Musrat Bano daughter of Mohammad Gulzar resident of Laderwan who were traveling in the Sumo. Both the injured have been shifted to hospital for treatment. Police has registered a case in this regard.
Meanwhile, a Tipper bearing registration number JK05B/6212 and a Maruti Car bearing registration number JK05C/3110 collided near Dar-U-Uloom Sheeri on the National Highway, in the jurisdiction of Police Station Sheeri, resulting in injuries to the driver of the Maruti car Aqib Khan son of Fareed Khan resident of Bijhama Uri. The injured has been shifted to the hospital for treatment. Police registered a case in this regard.
