UDHAMPUR – To spread the message of communal harmony and national integration and fraternity, a weeklong communal harmony campaign got underway in Udhampur today. The campaign is being organized by District Administration under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner, Udhampur, . P. K. Pole.
During the first day of campaign students and staff members of different educational institutions which include Govt. Higher Secondary (GHSS)Boys Udhampur, GHSS, Chununta, GHSS, Barola, GHS, Bhati, GGHS, Udhampur and GHS, Seen Barhmna took the pledge for fostering communal harmony, brotherhood and peace in the country.
On the occasion teachers delivered lectures on communal harmony and national integration. They called upon the students to be the ambassador of communal harmony for the peace and prosperity of the country.
For fostering communal harmony, national integration and fraternity, cultural programmes, debates, workshop on youth & communal harmony, massive students rally, painting competition and film shows would be organized during the campaign.
