KATHUA – On the Sixth Day of the Cooperative Week organized by Cooperative Department in collaboration with Jyoti Krish Central Marketing, the societies of Cooperative Command Area Development (CCAD) district Kathua participated.
MLC, Subash Gupta was the chief guest, while Director Command Area Development Jammu, Ali Asgar presided over the function
The Societies of Command Area Development Kathua, highlighted their achievements and performance. The representatives of participating societies putforth the problems faced by the societies before the MLC. They appealed for revival of the cooperative sector in the interest of the public.
It is pertinent to mention here that year 2012 has been declared as international cooperative year which signifies the importance of the cooperative week
Among others Deputy Registrar Command Area Development Hiranaga, Attar Chand, Asstt. Registar Cooperative Hiranagar, Raj Kumar, Asstt Registar Barnoti, Ramesh Chander, representatives from societies Sarpanchs, Panchs and large number of people participated.
