Srinagar – A Bengali tourist died in a hotel room in Srinagar, reportedly due to heart attack, official sources said here today. They said 55-year-old Yoginder Nath Halidar son of late Jamni Kant, resident of Jabalpur, Kolkata complained of chest pain in his hotel room here.
However, other family members immediately took him to SMHS hospital where he was declared brought dead. Later, the body was handed over to the next of kin for the last rites.
