Srinagar – Kashmiri Pandits Sangrash Samiti and PDP minority cell have expressed their gratitude for Kashmiri brothren for their overwhelming participation in Dassehra event in the evening organized by them at TRC ground Srinagar.
In a statement PDP minority cell president Ashok Bhat said that since 2007 this event has been celebrated to commemorate the victory of truth over evil forces and this initiative has been taken by Kashmiri Pandit Sangrash Samiti and PDP minority wing together and for this kashmiri muslim brothern have shown their curiosity and even have contributed for this historic event.
We share our gratitude for their brother hood, cooperation and participation and also wish Eid greetings to them.
Ashok Bhat also lambasted the present government for their foul play and creating hurdles by ceasing effigies of Rawana, Kumbkaran and Megnath at Ramban and Lowermunda to sabotage the event. He said instead of facilitating the event the government issued a letter putting all responsibilities on the organisers about any untoward incident which clearly indicates their intentions of sabotaging this religious event.
