Srinagar – Market checking Squads inspected the availability of essential commodities in different areas of District Shopian.
The teams were led by Tehsildars and included members from CAPD, Food Safety Department, Municipality, Police, Health and other departments.
The teams, during their inspections, fined the erring tradesmen and recovered Rs 2600/ as a fine and around 4 quintals of rotten vegetables fruits and over dated spices were destroyed on the spot.
