Srinagar – Indicted by the commission of inquiry and the house committee of the legislative assembly for the mess and deaths at the valley G.B Pant paediatric hospital earlier this year, Dr Javed Choudary, the then Medical Superintendent of the hospital has been detailed to work as a professor at Government Medical College (GMC).
Indicted by the House Committee and Dr Showkat Zargar, director SKI and head of the commission of enquiry mess in the hospital and teaching malpractices, the former Medical Superintendent.
Around 4000 infant deaths havd taken place in Kashmirs lone children hospital G B Pant from 2008 till 2012 during Dr Choudarys time as Medical Superintendent and head of the department of the hospital.
Dr Choudary who had been served charge sheet by the government has not replied to it so far. He was given 15 days to reply to charges farmed by the government against him.
Meanwhile, the Commissioner Secretary Health and Medical Education has said has been attached at GMC for teaching purposed in order to to utilize the services of the doctor, who draws hefty sum of money as salary from the state exchequer.
