Optimum coverage under AABY, JBY stressed
Jammu – Director Social Welfare Jammu, M H Bhatti, convened a meeting of officers of LIC and the department to work out strategies for further expanding the coverage of Aam Admi Bima Yojana and Jan Shree Bima Yojana meant for welfare of landless households and anganwari workers and helpers.
The meeting was convened as a part of observance of Social security month celebration.
Branch Manager, Chaitanya Sharma, LIC and R K Bakaya highlighted the social security schemes of LIClike Aam Admi Bima Yojana.
The Director asked the district officers and programme officers to create massive awareness about such social security schemes among the people to ensure maximum coverage of beneficiaries under the schemes.
Dy Director Planning, Dy Director administration, Dy Director Schemes and Dy Director ICDS also interacted with the participants.
Chaitanya Sharma urged upon the concerned officers to educate the people about AABY and JBY through grass root workers.
