Srinagar – Democratic freedom party Chairman Shabir Ahmad Shah was again placed under house arrest and was not allowed to move outside his house, the DFP spokesperson said.
As per the programme Shah was to go to Bijbehara to pray for the martyrs. On 22 October 1993, 53 civilians were killed by the troops. “The innocent people were protesting against the desecration of the holy shrine. We are not being allowed to even pray for the martyrs who laid down their lives for the sacred cause,” Shah said.
He said that the struggle against the indian forces will cotinue till each and every trooper leaves the valley. Separatist leadership should ensure that the sacrifices reach to the logical conclusion.
