Srinagar – A joint meeting of JKLF and Hurriyat leaders was held on the occasion. Leaders while paying rich tributes to the martyrs of Bijbehara said that the massacre of Bijbehara reminds us the ruthlessness and tyranny of Indian forces, which showered bullets on peaceful protesters and killed them. Leaders said that tyranny and ruthless approach cannot subjugate a just cause and people. Speakers said that 19 years have passed since the massacre but even until now no killers has been brought to justice. This is a clear evidence of Indian brutal approach towards kashmiris. Speakers said that the martyrs of Bijibihara were showered bullets because they were raising their voice for freedom. These martyrs include on Pandit brethren Kamal Ji koul also who laid down his life for the just cause. At the end of the meeting prayers were held for the martyrs of bijbihara and other martyrs of Jammu Kashmir.
A high level delegation of JKLF led by vice chairman Adv. BashIr Ahmad butt today reached Bijbihara for paying tributes to the martyrs of Bijebihara. A delegation comprising of senior Hurriyat leaders including Nayeem Ahmad Khan, Javed Ahmad Mir, Shabeer Ahmad Dar, M Yousuf Naqash and Raja Waseem also reached Bijebihara. The JKLF delegation led by Adv Bashir A Butt sahib included leaders Noor Mohammad Kalwal, Mir Mohammad Zaman, Zahoor Ahmad Butt, Mohammad Sideeq Shah, Bashir Ahmad Kashmiri, Nazir Ahmad Sheikh, Mir Siraj Ud Din,Ghulam Qadir Hyder ,Mohmmad Haneef and Mohammad Ishaq Ganai etc.
