Srinagar – A hideout was busted in Handwara in a joint operation by Handwara police wherein a cache of arms and ammunition was recovered.
A police spokesperson said that while acting on specific information, Handwara police along with 21 RR launched a search operation in the forest area of Darashpora, in the jurisdiction of Police Station Handwara and recovered huge cache of Arms and Ammunition.
The recoveries includes, 10 AK56 rifles, 01 AK 47 rifle, 01 Pica rifle, 12 RGP rounds, 12 Chinese Grenade, 447 AK47 rounds, 40 Pika rounds, 05 AK 47 magazines. Police has registered a case and investigation is on.
