Rich tributes paid to Bal Krishan Bhanwra
Udhampur – An Inter-college Urdu Mushaira was organized by Department of Information and Public Relations, Udhampur in collaboration with Govt. Degree College Udhampur in which students and senior poets participated.
Principal of the College Prof. Nutan Kumar Resutra inaugurated the event as the Chief Guest while .Arsh Sehbai a noted Urdu poet, presided over the function.
In his address, Dr. Resutra congratulated the students for proposing & initiating the event. An educational institution grows in real terms when the students start participating in its processes. Urdu is not only the State language but a popular one also. Promoting its use is the joint responsibility of all of us. The College understanding its responsibility will continue its efforts of organizing such programs, he added.
