Srinagar – Democratic Freedom Party Chairman Shabir Ahmad Shah Thursday visited the house of Prof Altaf Hussain Tak who left for heavenly abode a few days back where he expressed his deep sympathies with the bereaved family.
Altaf Hussain Tak was teaching English at the University of Kashmir.
While talking about life and death with the people there he said life and death is in the hands of the Allah. Allah gives us life in order to prepare for hereafter. We are sent here for a cause and we must not deviate from the cause that Allah has entrusted on us. We are here so that we may be able to secure a better place for ourselves on the day of Ressurection, he said.
Shah also went to the house of the slain Hurriyat leader Sheikh Abdul Rashid alias Ibrahim. Shah said that our time in this world is fixed by Allah and he decides when we have to leave for the heavenly abode.
He also said that the Hurriyat leaders who have laid down their lives for the sacred cause of freedom will be rewarded on the judgement day. Shah also went to Kangan Ganderbal where he discussed the present day happenings in the valley.
