Srinagar – One person died while another seriously injured in a bear attack in Srigufwara area of Anantnag district last evening.
A bear attacked and injured Abdul Rehman Lone age 70 years son in law of Ghulam Qadir Gani and Shabir Ahmad Lone age 25 years son of Muhammad Anwar Lone resident of Nowshera, Srigufwara. The duo was working in their orchards at Nowshera, in the jurisdiction of Police Srigufwara. Both the injured were shifted to Hospital for treatment where Abdul Rehman Lone succumbed to his injuries. The body of deceased was handed over to his relatives for last rites.
