Udhampur – Joint Director Planning, Udhampur, Mr. Rakesh Jamwal accompanied by Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Anil Amla on Thursday inaugurated Control Room for 102 Referral Transport in the premises of ANMT School of District Hospital, Udhampur.
The genuine patients requiring urgent medical aid can ring on the Telephone No. 102 of Referral Transport and in turn the government ambulance from the nearest health centre would reach the residence of the patient and shift him to the nearest Primary Health Centre, Community Health Centre or in District Hospital.
According to Chief Medical Officer, Udhampur, the staff have been deployed in the Control Room and the Referral Transport would provide free transport facilities for the patient like pregnant ladies, sick new born, accidental cases and BPL patents.
Among others, Medical Superintendent, District Hospital, Udhampur, Dr. Chander Parkash, District Social Welfare Officer, Mr. Yash Paul, Dy. Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Santosh Sharma, Dy. Medical Superintendent, Dr. Deepak Kumar, Medicos and Para-Medicos attended the function.
