Srinagar – District Development Commissioner, Mr. Farooq Ahmed Khan today reviewed the functioning of District Red Cross Society (DRCS) at a meeting attended by the members and officials .
Chief Planning Officer, Doda Dr. Yassir Balwan, Chief Medical Officer Doda Dr. Mohammad Iqbal Zargar, Superintendent District Hospital Doda Dr. F.A Butt, District Social Welfare Officer Doda Mr. Rakesh Kumar, besides other members of the society also attended the meeting.
Speaking at the meeting, the DDC (also chairman of the DRCS) impressed upon the officers to put in their best efforts to raise and mobilize resources to enable the society to help the people in the District and carry forward the noble cause of serving humanity.
He said revenue and resources are vital for the society to reach out the needy people.
Various issues were discussed in the meeting, which include Approval of tyres for the Ambulance, Ist Aid training for life members volunteers/members , Engagement of Medical Assistant for Mobile Team under Red Cross Society Doda and Computer for Treasurer office.
