Srinagar – Replying to a Calling Attention Notice by Syed Mohammad Rafiq Shah, Minister of State for Revenue Mr. Nasir Aslam Wani has said that the exact quantum of loss will be worked out only after completion of Girdawari Khariff 2012 which has commenced from 1st September 2012 and is scheduled to be completed by October, 15, 2012. He said the matter will be placed before State Executive Committee for consideration of release of funds as per State Disaster Response Fund Norms immediately after final damage reports is received.
Nasir said that a committee headed by Additional Deputy Commissioner Kupwara with Chief Agricultural Officer and Chief Horticultural Officer of the district its members has already been constituted for the purpose.
