Srinagar – Minister for Health, Horticulture and Floriculture, . Sham Lal Sharma in replying to a question by . Subash Chander Gupta today informed the House that the screening process for the allotment of shop sites at fruit and vegetable market at Kathua has almost been completed and the developmental works in the said market are its final stage. He said the market will be made functional shortly.
Regarding the construction of Apni Mandi at Hiranagar, Bani and Billawar, the Minister said that the land identification is under process for all the three Mandies. He said the matter is under examination for opening of State of the art whole sale grand mandi at Bari-Brehmena/Saroor in Jammu.
In response to another question of Sheikh Ghulam Qadir Pardesi, . Sham Lal Sharma said that for transfer the horticulture land to Youth Service Sports at village Zawora, the District Development Board 2011 has issued the directions to the DDC and concerned officers along with MLC to visit the spot.
