Srinagar – Minister for Forest, Mian Altaf Ahmed today informed the Legislative Assembly that Forest department has received a proposal from the Registrar, Kashmir University on October 5, 2012, seeking land clearance for establishing University campus at Wayan, Kupwara.
He said the matter would be placed before the Forest Advisory Committee in its next meeting for forest clearance.
The Minister was replying to a calling attention notice of Mir Saifullah in the House.
