Srinagar – Chairman, Jammu and Kashmir Women Commission and Member Legislative Assembly Habbakadal, Ms. Shamim Firdous went round various areas of Fatehkadal, Narparistan, Bana Mohalla, Chinkral Mohalla and other areas of down town of Srinagar city and took stock of various development works under execution in the area.
She directed the officers to take up the renovation work of Aastan Aaliya Narparistan on modern lines for which Rs 10 lakh have been released by the government. She also took stock of road widening project at Habbakadal and directed for releasing compensation in favour of those whose houses are being have come in road widening and were shifted to another places.
Several delegations called on Ms Shamim Firdous, which among others include shopkeepers Association and put forth their demands.
Additional Deputy Commissioner, Srinagar, officers of JKPCC and R&B accompanied the Chairperson.
