Srinagar – To expedite the implementation of development works in Srinagar district, a review meeting was held with District Development Commissioner, Srinagar, . Baseer Ahmad Khan in chair here today. The meeting was attended by the officers from various departments of civil and engineering sectors.
Threadbare discussions were held for the beautification of the areas on the banks of River Jhelum besides widening of various roads around the shrines of Khankhai Moula (RA) and Dastgeer Sahib (RA) in the district.
The DDC urged the officers to expedite the ongoing developmental works to complete them before the onset of ensuing winter in the valley and construction of community halls besides improvisation of drainage system in Srinagar city. He impressed upon the officers to consult the concerned MLAs before taking up the development project in the district.
