Srinagar – Property worth lakhs of rupees has been damaged in different fire incidents in the Kashmir valley overnight, official sources said here today.
They said fire broke out in a house at Batagund in south Kashmir district of Anantnag.
However, before the fire tenders could reach there fire spread to a nearby house, they said adding that both the houses besides other household goods were reduced to ashes.
The cause of fire was not known, they said adding no one was injured. A house and other household goods were damaged in a fire incident at Behibagh in Kulgam district of south Kashmir while a cowshed was reduced to ashes at Chambgund.
