Srinagar Mr. N. N. Vohra, Governor, has expressed grief over the loss of human lives in a road accident in Tangdar area of Kupwara district.
In a message, the Governor conveyed his sympathy to the bereaved families and prayed for eternal peace to the departed souls. He also prayed for the speedy recovery of all those injured in this tragic accident.
Raj Bhavan spokesman said that the Governor has urged the Director General of Police to urgently review the obtaining traffic regulations, particularly regarding the movement of passenger carriers and buses and issue immediate directions for the ground staff to effectively ensure against overloading, which is reportedly among the frequent causes for fatal accidents.
