Stresses for coordination, smooth conduct
Srinagar – To ensure smooth and hassle free conduct of forth coming Assembly Session, Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir, Dr. Asgar Samoon convened divisional officers meeting here today.
Among others Commissioner, Srinagar Municipal Corporation, Dr. G. N. Qasba, Vice Chairman, Srinagar Development Authority, Mr. Farooq Renzu Shah, Joint Director, Fire and Emergency Services besides Senior Officers of Police and Civil Administration participated in the meeting.
Threadbare discussions were held regarding the arrangements like parking of Vehicles, un-interrupted power supply, smooth plying of traffic, issuance of security passes, coverage of the forthcoming session through print and electronic media.
Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir stressed for close coordination among different Departments for smooth conduct of ensuing Assembly Session commencing from October Ist,2011.
It was given out in the meeting that arrangements related connectivity and mobility have already been put in place. Besides arrangements related to health care, availability of ambulances and fire tenders shall be made available.
