Srinagar – North Zone football team Monday won the 42nd All India Inter Zonal Football tournament after defeating West Zone football teams of Food Corporation of India here at Polo ground.
North Zone football team thumped West Zone after scoring 6 goals to nil.
Later on, an impressive function was held to felicitate the teams .
On this occasion, General Manager FCI, JK R.K Jain gave away awards and trophies to winners, runner up team and all participating teams.
Executive Director JK Bank Tafazul Hussain, president JKFA, Zameer Ahmad Thakur, organizers and large numbers of football lovers witnessed the exciting match.(Observer News service)
