London – US-based tech giant Apple has been voted the coolest brand in Britain, according to a survey.
The iPhone maker beat car manufacturer Aston Martin to first place in the 11th annual CoolBrands poll.
According to Sky News, the survey placed YouTube on the second, Twitter on the fourth and Google on the fifth spot.
The panel scored each brand for factors including innovation, originality, style, authenticity, desirability and uniqueness ahead of the public vote.
Nearly 45 percent of the list is made up of technology and media brands, compared with a quarter last year, while a record number of online brands made the top 20, the report said.
According to the report, among the highest movers in the top 20 are Twitter, Skype and Nikon
