Srinagar, Sept 23: The Department of Business and Financial Studies (DBFS), University of Kashmir today felicitated Executive President, J&K Bank, Tafazul Hussain for his contributions in building the
industry-institute partnership through various programs today at an event held at campus.
Vice chancellor of the university, Prof. Talat Ahmad presented the certificate of honour to the executive president of the bank in the valedictory function of three day national conference on ‘Contemporary issues in Business, Management & Finance’.
A career profile of the executive president was read by Prof Nazir Ahmad Nazir head DOBFS KU before the certificate of honour was presented.
Thanking varsity for the honour bestowed on him , Tafazul Hussain on the occasion said that it has been a wonderful experience interacting with the students during various programs conducted by the department.
“I appreciate the efforts of the placement cell of the department in bridging the gap between the industry and the institute,” he said.
Tafazhul was all praise for the present Vice chancellor Prof Talat and Head Department of Business and Financial Studies, Prof Nazir A Nazir for what he termed their efforts to bring industry and academia together.
