Srinagar, – Islamia College Alumni cricket team (ICAC) Thursday thrashed Government Degree College, Anantnag by seven wickets in quarter final of 7th Prof Yousuf Memorial Cricket Cup at Islamia College of Science and Commerce here.
After winning the Toss by GDC Anantnag elected to bat first but manged to score only 52 runs in 15.2 overs. Rayees Ahmad was the top scorer with 33 runs in 42 balls.
For Islamia College Alumni team Waseem Raza took five wickets Rafiq claimed four wickets.
Chasing an easy target, Islamia College Alumni Team finished the job in 7.1 overs as Amir scored 37 runs in 20 balls and Asif scored 16 runs in 08 balls remained not-out.
Mubashir from GDC Anantnag took three wickets.
Wasim Raza was adjudged Man of the Match for his good Bowling performance.
By winning the game Islamia College Alumni booked their place in semi-finals.
